Dr. Prakash, MBBS, MD (Ind. Med.), DM (Nephrology), FISPD, FISN (USA), was earlier associated with Artemis Health Institute, Gurgaon; Northern Railway Central Hospital and AIIMS, New Delhi. He received scholarship from the International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis (FISPD) for training in advanced techniques in CAPD and other therapies at the Toronto Western Hospital, Toronto, Canada, in 2000. Dr. Prakash was also awarded Fellowship of International Society of Nephrology (FISN) to train at University of Missouri, University Sciences Center, Columbia, USA, in 2002.

He has published more than 40 papers in peer-reviewed indexed, national and international journals.
