Dr. Chaudhary has been the main force behind the conceptualisation, subsequent commissioning and operationalisation of Sports Injury Center at Safdarjung Hospital, a first-of-its-kind, on most modern lines. Under his dynamic leadership, the Centre emerged as a centre of excellence providing integrated diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services under one roof. His efforts resulted in the Center being approved by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs as a Referral Centre for providing specialised treatment to Indian athletes who were selected for the Rio Olympics 2016.

With over 25 years of rich expertise in this highly specialised field, Dr. Chaudhary and his team have performed more than 12,000 complex arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgeries at the Centre, by far the most number of arthroscopic surgeries done at a single centre in the country. His keen interest is in shoulder surgeries, mainly arthroscopic, and he has successfully developed innovative techniques for complex Rotator Cuff and Revision Bankart Repair surgeries.
